Terms & Conditions (AGB) for Ticket Sales

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of tickets for the IASRE trade fair organised by IASRE GmbH.
By purchasing a ticket, the buyer accepts these conditions.

2. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticket purchases made via the IASRE website, Pretix, or any other authorised ticketing platform.

3. No Right of Withdrawal (Widerruf)

Tickets for events on a fixed date are excluded from the legal right of withdrawal under:

§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB

Therefore:

  • No cancellations

  • No returns

  • No refunds

Once purchased, all ticket sales are final.

4. Ticket Purchase and Payment

  1. Tickets are sold exclusively through Pretix or other officially designated ticketing systems.

  2. Payment methods displayed during checkout are processed by Pretix or its payment providers.

  3. A contract is formed once the buyer completes the purchase and receives a confirmation email.

  4. The buyer must ensure their contact information is correct.

5. Ticket Validity and Admission

  1. Each ticket grants entry for the person named on the ticket, or for the bearer if the ticket type allows transfer.

  2. Tickets are checked at the entrance; valid ID may be required.

  3. The Organiser may refuse admission if:

    • the ticket is invalid, forged, or unreadable

    • the visitor violates safety rules

    • the visitor appears intoxicated or behaves inappropriately

Admission fees will not be refunded in such cases.

6. Event Modifications, Postponement, Cancellation

6.1 Modifications

The Organiser may make changes to programme elements, schedules, exhibitors, or event layout if necessary.
Such changes do not entitle the visitor to a refund.

6.2 Postponement

If the event is postponed, purchased tickets remain valid for the new date.
Refunds are granted only if a new date is not provided.

6.3 Cancellation

If the event is fully cancelled by the Organiser, the ticket price will be refunded.
Refunds exclude:

  • Travel costs

  • Accommodation costs

  • Other consequential expenses

No further claims may be made.

7. Transfer and Resale of Tickets

  1. Reselling tickets for commercial purposes is prohibited.

  2. Tickets may only be transferred privately, provided the buyer complies with all terms.

  3. The Organiser may invalidate tickets obtained via unauthorised resale channels.

8. Behaviour at the Event

Visitors must follow:

  • Venue regulations

  • Safety and fire protection rules

  • Instructions from event and venue staff

The Organiser may remove visitors who:

  • behave aggressively

  • disrupt the event

  • violate safety rules

  • endanger others

No refunds will be provided.

9. Photography and Video Recording

  1. Visitors may be photographed or filmed during the event.

  2. The Organiser may use this material for documentation and marketing.

  3. Visitors may object for legitimate personal reasons.

10. Liability

  1. The Organiser is liable only for intentional or grossly negligent conduct.

  2. Liability for slight negligence is excluded except in cases of:

    • injury to life, body, or health

    • breach of essential contractual obligations

  3. The visitor is responsible for personal belongings; no liability is assumed for lost or stolen items.

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Organiser’s Privacy Policy and Pretix’s privacy terms.
Payment information is handled exclusively by Pretix/payment providers.

12. Final Provisions

  1. German law applies.

  2. Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Siegen, Germany.

  3. If any clause is invalid, the remaining clauses remain in force.

  4. Changes to these Terms must be made in writing.
